Wine To Water: You Don’t Have To Be Jesus To Create A Miracle.

Happy Friday Eve everyone! We want to thank everyone who helped us have such a great success on our Facebook and Twitter launch. Please spread the word to enter to win a bottle of our inaugural 2011 Pinot Noir! Heck, we will even sign it and all that fun stuff! #savefamoussignatures.

One aspect of the wine business I believe is often lacking is participation in charities. The wine industry is a multi-billion dollar business worldwide, there is no excuse to not be involved more in charities. A benefit of being a new business is we can create relationships with certain organizations from day one. Enter, Wine To Water. An excerpt from their website:

Wine To Water is a 501(c)(3) non-profit aid organization focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. Nearly 1 billion people in the world today lack access to adequate water and 2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation. We are devoted to fighting this epidemic. Wine symbolizes fortune in our society. Our goal is to give the fortunate population an opportunity to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.

Coming from an amazing country such as the United States of America, we are handed certain privileges often take for granted; clean water being one of them. As a kid, I pledged to share my good fortune with those who didn’t get the breaks in life I did. We, as humans, are so powerful and have so much to give. The partners at MSix Wines know the importance of picking up those around us who are down. We are all in this together.

While we do not have a tangible product to donate as of right now, we have begun the process to work out some way to help this awesome organization. Please stay tuned for further developments! We are excited to be able to help!
